# Thermage in Seoul > Thermage FLX in Seoul: how monopolar radiofrequency skin tightening works, who it suits, how Seoul prices are quoted, what recovery involves, and how it compares with Ultherapy and XERF. Thermage FLX is a non-invasive skin-tightening system made by Solta Medical (Bausch Health). It delivers monopolar capacitive radiofrequency to heat the dermis while a cryogen spray cools the epidermis, and its heating field has no single fixed treatment depth. - FLX added AccuREP impedance feedback and a redesigned vibrating handpiece; the earlier CPT system already included vibration for comfort. - The Thermage platform received periorbital clearance in 2002; Thermage FLX was cleared as K170758 on September 22, 2017. - Tips: face tips, the Eye Tip for periorbital and eyelid skin (Eye Thermage), and a body tip for areas such as the abdomen, inner arms, knees and thighs. - Ultherapy Prime uses microfocused ultrasound at selectable 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm focal depths. Its treatment planes can overlap with RF heating, so choosing or combining the devices depends on examination, not on a layer or age rule. - Published studies describe gradual change over months but do not establish one universal peak or fixed duration; Thermage is not permanent. - Implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers and ICDs are a manufacturer contraindication. Metal near the treatment area, pregnancy, active infection and recent fillers or threads call for individual assessment or postponement. ## Thermage FLX guides - [Thermage FLX in Korea: Seoul Guide to Tips, Shots and Cost](https://thermage-seoul.com/): Thermage FLX monopolar RF skin tightening in Seoul.
